I hope you all are enjoying your 3 day weekend! Remember, Labor Day is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated on the first Monday in September to honor and recognize the American labor movement and the works and contributions of laborers to the development and achievements of the United States.
With the pandemic going on, I hope this really gave us the time to look at the jobs we usually take for granted. Store clerks, teachers, doctors, nurses, bus boys, waiters and etc. i hope this pandemic gave us awake up call that these people are essential. They are not slaves and should get paid more that what they are given.
Please take the time out to reflect and thank all these people, because without them it would be extremely difficult to adult one day at a time.
