RIP Kobe Bryant

d5131134cc08004bf7bbdd792ce90258Kobe Bryant death comes to a shock to me. When I first heard the news I couldn’t believe it, but unfortunately it is true. I am not as much as a basketball fan as I was during my younger days. I have played basketball during middle and high school years. My mom and I use to cheer for Kobe and Shaq all the time. We also yelled at the screen when they were not playing well together as a team. Lol!

I came across a quote of his about fear and self-doubt. I thought it would a perfect quote to share on this motivational Monday. It showcases despite all of his success and achievement, he is like everyone else and has his moments too. Yet he continued on and persevered. I hope it inspired you today.

Also, I hope everyone takes account that he died in a young age of 41. Please let this be a wakeup call to not take life for granted. For you never know. One day you may be here and the next day you may not. This is why on my social media accounts I strongly express the acknowledgement of gratitude. It’s to take what we have not for granted. Also, a more grateful heart receives more blessings.

Okay, okay, okay, I will stop being “preachy”. I hope this quote have motivated you as much as it did to me. Kobe is one of my favorite basketball players then and to this day. May he rest in peace.  He is definitely one of the sports legends. And we can all be legends in our own way. We just have to adult one day at a time. How do you feel about his death?
